Frequently Asked Questions

Does my project have to be Halloween-themed?

Not at all! Spooky, funny, or unrelated projects are also welcome. Just make sure it's unique, creative and inspiring to others.

What are the requirements for the grant?

Peer voting decides the top project. The top 10% of projects in each catagory will receive a 100$ grant to purchase parts. Everyone else will recieve the Trick or' Trace accessory kit. This is in addition to the standard OnBoard grant requirements.

How do I get the accessory kit?

Once we reach 50 submissions, all submitted project participants will receive stickers and a exclusive prize.

Remember, you may not apply the same PCB for both the original OnBoard Grant and this event!

What about the OnBoard grant?

You can still apply for the OnBoard grant, but you cannot receive two grants for the same PCB design. Your new PCB must be significantly different, offering a chance to improve your previous design if you've already used your grant.
